Arriving at Hotel Rural En El Camino after a long day on the Camino de Santiago, we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist, who quickly checked us in, empathizing with our fatigue. the hotel exuded a modern ambiance, with clean and comfortable rooms that provided a much-needed retreat from the day's trek. the outdoor patio was a delightful spot to unwind with pre-dinner drinks. The shared lounge and terrace offered charming spaces to relax, while the Italian breakfast provided a tasty start to the day. the staff, although slightly rushed due to apparent shortages, were friendly and hardworking, ensuring our needs were met. the onsite bar was a convenient spot for evening drinks, adding to the overall appeal of the hotel. the affordable and delicious Pilgrim's dinner was a culinary highlight, complemented by the hospitality of the staff. It was a welcome surprise in an unassuming town, leaving us with a positive impression that would make us consider returning on our next Camino adventure.
